About me
Designing with curiosity and compassion
I’m Anna Levy, a UX/Product Designer with 4 years of product experience designing tech in the aviation industry. I am based in Montréal, Québec, Canada, and have work authorization in both Canada and the United States. My diverse background - from digital product design to graphic design to hospitality management - has shaped me into a curious and empathetic creative professional.
My design niche
I thrive doing UX strategy — helping businesses understand how design drives business goals. I pride myself on my ability to design simple and elegant solutions to complex problems.
My design philosophy
Design is a team sport. Designing in a silo might get you 90% of the way there, but you need your teammates to get you the last 10% of the way over the finish line. Engaging stakeholders and subject matter experts is at the core of my strategy to design useful and delightful products.
As a UX/UI Designer at WestJet, I lead the design of WestJet’s member account dashboard on web and mobile platforms. With a focus on growing WestJet’s loyalty program, I partner with stakeholders across business units to refine designs based on user feedback and usability testing data in order to enhance engagement.
How did I get here?
In 2014 I moved from New York to Montréal and never looked back. I graduated from McGill University with a BA&Sc in Cognitive Science in 2018.
After COVID interrupted a brief (and very fun!) stint in hospitality management, I entered the design industry.
Who am I?
I’m intense about everything I do. I’m full of useless facts and information. And I care about people a lot.
When I’m not tinkering with designs I am training for marathons, watching horror movies, planning my next travel adventure or hanging out with my cat, (and constant companion) Amara.
